What is Norwich Norwich Wine Week?

Norwich Wine Week will bring together the best producers, merchants, and wine experts from the region to celebrate the areas flourishing wine scene. The week kicks off with a three day festival in Chapelfield Gardens, then throughout the week 14 – 22, there will be exclusive discounts, tasting experiences and food pairings hosted at venues across the city

Who will be exhibiting at the festival?

We have a brilliant selection of local vineyards and merchants joining us for our two day festival. Check out our festival page to see who’s exhibiting.

How old do I have to be to participate?

Our event is strictly 18+ and we will be applying a challenge 25 policy.

If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to show photo ID.

Under 18s will not be permitted into the event and tickets will not be refunded. This includes babies and children. 

What do I get included with my ticket?

General tickets

Tasting tent tickets 

  • Ticket includes general admission + a 30 minute tasting tent session

  • Access to tasting tent session – talks and tutored tastings (30 person capacity at each session)
Can I attend more than one session in the tasting tent?

The two tasting tents have a limited capacity of 30 people per tent and therefore we have restricted access on pre-bookings to one tasting tent session per ticket purchased. Subject to availability, there will be additional tasting tent tickets on the day.

Is there food available?

Food will be available to purchase from a variety of delicious food vendors, check out our festival page.

Is the event accessible?

The event will be held at Chapelfield Gardens and can be accessed by wheelchair. Disabled toilet facilities are available.

What payment options are available?

Payments can be made by card only.

Are you only serving wine?

There will be fully stocked bar full of wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks.

Do you offer non-alcoholic drinks?

The bar will be stocked with a range of non-alcoholic beverages.

How can I travel to the event?

Taxi – Use our official travel partner, ABC. Be sure to book in advance! 

Bus – Timetables & maps – konectbus and Norfolk & Suffolk | First Bus are offering £2 single journey ticket fares!

Car – For the designated drivers, Chantry Place Car Park is located within the city center and is a 1 minute walk from Chapelfield Gardens

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are strictly prohibited at Norwich Wine Week due to healthy & safety regulations. Guide dogs and service dogs are permitted

 

I can no longer attend, can I have a refund?

Tickets are non refundable.

  • Tickets purchased for the three-day Norwich Wine Week Festival (both General Admission and Tasting Tent Bundle Tickets) will only be refunded in the case of cancellation of the entire event by the organisers (Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) Ltd). Any refund would be at face value of the purchased ticket.
  • The three-day Norwich Wine Week Festival is open to over 18s only. Ticket holders may be asked for proof of age in order to be permitted entry to the event area. Tickets purchased by anyone under 18 will not be refunded.
  • In the event that there is a change to the billing of events in the tasting tent, Norwich BID Ltd reserve the right to substitute the cancelled event for another wine tasting event, without prior notification. If a replacement event cannot be arranged, a refund will be issued at face value for the tasting session only (the cost of general admission will not be refunded).
  • The purchase of any Norwich Wine Week tickets are for the event itself, and not for a specific exhibitor. No refund will be offered in the event of exhibitor cancellations.
  • Bad weather, natural disasters, or any other force majeure will not lead to ticket refunds.

We aim to create a safe environment at Norwich Wine Week. We ask you act responsibly to protect staff, exhibitors and attendees if you have Covid, and not attend the festival event.

Photography

Norwich BID reserves the right to carry out photography and/or video recording at their events for publicity purposes and to reproduce images and footage on our website. By entering into this Agreement, you agree that Norwich BID and any party authorised by the Norwich BID may use such images in perpetuity and in any format whatsoever.

Smoking

The current smoking legislation regarding smoking in public places applies at all of our events. The use of E-Cigarettes is not permitted at our event except in designated smoking areas.

Security

Please be aware that for your security, we may on occasion conduct bag searches on entry to the event.

To ensure that everyone can have an enjoyable experience, we reserve the right to refuse admission to disruptive or aggressive attendees even if a valid ticket is produced. No refund will be issued in this case.
