Vineyards
Welcome to Norwich Wine Week, a city-wide, 10-day celebration of taste, place, and discovery where bold bottles and unexpected wine moments.
Perfectly aligned with English Wine Week, Saturday 20 June – Sunday 28 June 2026, this year’s celebration is the ultimate invitation to raise a glass to the incredible viticulture right on our doorstep. While we explore exceptional global flavours across Norwich’s brilliant bars and restaurants, we are shining a proud, curated spotlight on our very own East Anglian region.
Blessed with a unique climate and pioneering spirit, our sun-soaked corners of Norfolk and Suffolk have fast become a place for world-class grape growing, producing a spectacular array of internationally acclaimed, award-winning wines.
Burn Valley Vineyard
Nestled in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside, Burn Valley Vineyard offers the perfect, welcoming escape. This family-run vineyard pairs world-class, award-winning English wines with an incredibly warm hospitality that makes every visitor feel right at home. Whether you are sipping your way through a guided tasting of their exceptional local grape varieties or indulging in a spectacular charcuterie or seafood platter served with warm, fresh bread, a day spent here is a true celebration of Norfolk’s rich flavours.
Chet Valley Vineyard
Since planting the first vines at Chet Valley Vineyard over a decade ago, owners John and Bridget Hemmant have worked tirelessly to manage the Norfolk winery with a uniquely sustainable philosophy, deeply rooted in respect for the natural elements of winemaking and their beautiful environment.
The result? A gorgeous natural space for visitors to explore, and a range of equally sustainable wine, and delectable bottles.
Flint Vineyard
Perched on the sunny slopes of the beautiful Waveney Valley, Flint Vineyard is a true pioneer of the East Anglian wine revolution and an absolute bucket-list destination for your next escape. Here, cutting-edge science meets stunning Norfolk landscape, resulting in some of the most sophisticated, award-winning still and sparkling wines in the country. A visit promises an unforgettable experience, whether you are touring their state-of-the-art winery, sampling their critically acclaimed Bacchus, or relaxing over their famous lunch platter packed with the finest local delicacies.
Walsingham Estate Vineyard
For generations, the Walsingham Estate has been a custodian of this North Norfolk land. Their vineyard, planted in 2019, is the newest chapter in that story of stewardship. They chose this 9-acre Stiffkey Valley field for its south-facing slope, free-draining soil studded with flint, and underlying chalk. Three varieties: Bacchus, Solaris, and Pinot Noir. Each grown where inherited land knowledge meets meticulous attention to terroir.
