The Norwich Wine Week Showcase will be held on 14 – 22 June, throughout the week the below venues are offering visitors and locals the chance to try, taste, or experience wine in whatever way they can. Whether guests are partial to a tipple or complete wine novices, everyone is welcome! You can expect discounts, wine and food pairings, expert tastings and talks. Substrata are teaming up with the Steam Packet for a south of France wine dinner, featuring the wines they import from Domaine La Lauzeta, a biodynamic and dry-farmed estate in Saint-Chinian, the Languedoc.

Come and join us for an evening with one of our key producers – Michael Troy from Boisset in Burgundy – who has paired their wines to a specially prepared menu by our Head Chef. A stunning range of fine wines including Marsannay, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Pommard alongside a fine dining menu with classical French undertones in a modern British style accompanied by an explanatory talk. The event is limited in number and expect a few extra surprises from our chefs! The ultimate event for anyone passionate about great food and wine.

The Last
A taste of Italy
Interesting wines, great food, stories and background on how to pair wine with food. We have joined up with one of our favourite Italian producers – Castello di Buttrio – to match some interesting wines with the menu that has been created specially for this event by our talented Head Chef. There are always a few “hidden gems” on a wine list, and we have decided to showcase these with a dinner that highlights a curated wine pairing with an entertaining discussion around wine and food.
